TIDA-00951: Design Error with the ENABLE signal?

Part Number: TIDA-00951
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-01281

There is another error. The ENABLE signal is wrong connected according to the DSP PCB. It is wired to the Pin2, but that pin is connected to an ADC channel, it is impossible. What is the right configuration?

Please, let me know what is your solution for this problem.

Regards,

Guillermo.

  • Hi Guillermo,

Posting from my reply to your email communication.

The Vboost ADC signal is not used in this desing . This is a provision in TIDA-01281 but not used for the TIDA-00951 design. The singal BUFFER was initially used to create a digital enable using TP1 pn TIDA-01281, so as to put all PWMs in ready state before enabling the logic buffer otputs of U16 and U17.

However after testing, this facility was bypassed as the PWM state is ensured in the firmware and no further enable was required.

For current board testing all that needs to be done is connect BUFFER TO LV_AUX_3.3V.

    Best Regards,

    Ram
