mytest.TSCHi, While running simple thermal simulation, I got "Access violation at address 0097ED27 in module 'TINA.EXE', Read of address 0000002A.

Attached is a file with mytest.TSC that produces it. it is a simple bridge with one thermistor.

I read other answers about this and similar problems. I have updated TINA today with the latest TINA. I have restarted TINA, computer, had removed previous TINA.

The error is persistent, and looks like a memory violation bug to me.

Please, let me know if it is possible to fix this problem, and let me know how to fix it.

As mentioned, in my first email, I looked and thoroughly read all "Access violation" for TINA in e2e, and non of it resolved my problem. I also tried all what was recommended in those "solutions" and nothing worked for me. No, this does not answer my questions, and does not resolve my problem.

Hi Vlad,

I ran you TSC file and it does not give me any error message. Are you getting this message for all TSC files or only with this TSC file? If it is specific to this TSC file, please copy and paste the schematic to a new TSC file and try running it there.

Hi Nikhil,

as stated in my first email, temperature analysis does not work: Analysis-DC analysis-Temperature Analysis.

I tried to copy to the new file, and did not work. Tried to reinstall and did not work. Tried to reboot computer and did not work. Please advise:

Simple.TSCI even made a much simpler model, which also does not work with Thermal analysis, just a voltage supply and thermistor.

Hi Vlad,

Sorry to hear about your troubles. I don't have any more insights into this issue. I tried to recreate the issue on my machine, but it works just fine (temp analysis) as you can see below. You can try with my file (below -- it is essentially same as your file but with a probe for measurement of voltage). If this too does not work, can you try this file on another computer? It will help to isolate the issue.

Vlad,

I am able to reproduce your error. Evidently, it comes due to the fact that there is no probe on your schematic. Once you add a probe, it should work. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

Thank you Nikhil, your example worked. it seems that the probe somehow fixed the problem.

I will close this issue on my side, and keep an eye on the problems if they arise.
