PMP9184B: Coupled Inductor Replacement

Howdy,

In PMP9184B there is a coupled inductor in the BOM - RL-9426. I have not been able to find it anywhere. Is it a custom coupled inductor for this design? Either way do you have recommendation for a replacement inductor or a datasheet so I can try to find a replacement? Doesnt need to be exact size or anything, just similar characteristics.

    Hi Kevin,

    The inductor was a Renco part and I cannot find it on their website. It seems the part is discontinued. I don't have a part recommendation, but you can contact the magnetics vendors for a substitute, or even a custom design. Another option is not to use the coupled inductor. Sepic also works with two separate inductors.
