Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models
Hi,
I just tried to implement a new MOSFET in my simulation, thetest_driver_ampli_0.2.TSCand now I recieve an Error of convergence... What does that mean?
I also tried to modify the shunt value in the transient parameters as I found on another post here but it doesn't help.
Any idea?

1. During the transient analysis, SPICE simulators ( like TINA-TI) use iterative method to calculate nodal voltages and branch currents for each individual time step. If the node voltages do not settle down, the time step is reduced and SPICE tries again to determine the node voltages. If the time step is reduced beyond a specific fraction of the total analysis time, the transient analysis will issue the error message, “Convergence problem” and the analysis will be halted.
You can refer to TINA-help to know more about parameters which can be modified to solve convergence failures. Go to Analysis --> Set Analysis Parameters --> Help.
2. We have looked into the .TSC file shared by you. The MOS parameters (DRDSON, DVTH) are looking unrealistic. Can you please confirm the same? We have replaced the MOS with another MOS in the testbench and it is working fine.

Hi,
I didn't understand why it was "DRDSON" and not simply "RDSON" if I could simply find it in the datasheet. It's the reason of my error parameter suggestion.
As I looked for comprehension of the parameter, I found this : 
where they give some advices to improve the convergence problems.
I tried the parameters given in the chapter 5 and now I achieve a 8% completion before convergence error...
Do you any idea to improve it more?test_driver_ampli_0.4.TSC
