TINA/Spice/UCC28064A: The current of VSENSE PIN in simplis is larger than expected

Hi :

Sorry to bother you.

When i use the simplis model of UCC28064, I found that the current flowing into VSENSE Pin is over 1 uA, which is different from 100 nA in datasheet. This will cause the Vout haigher than expected.

Can you check the model or advise me why it happens? Thank you.

Hi Li,Gang,

We have looked into the model and found that the VSENSE pin is connected to i/p of few comparators, which has i/p impedance in few Mega ohm. Those input pins are drawing currents from VSENSE pin in uA. We have tried to increase the i/p impedance of the same to 1Gohm and currents got reduced to 34 nA.
