WEBENCH® Tools/LMK03328: Request to add DF (Damping Factor) calculation result

Hi Team,

Why doesn't the WEBENCH Clock Architect result not have the "Damping Factor" information ?

It would be helpful if the WEBENCH result would also have  DF value to understand better PLL stability.

Is it possible to predicate that the PLL is stable without considering the DF, just by checking the phase margin ?

On of other TI clock software shows DF result.

    Thank you for your feedback and we will definitely take your feedback into consideration in the future!

    Using phase margin to determine stability for second order system is a common practice. 

    If you google phase margin for PLL, you will find literatures that address your question.
