TINA/Spice/LM5113: Simulation

Part Number: LM5113
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI,

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hello Team,

I am new to TINA simulation tool. I would like to simulate LM5113 Gate Driver. In my practical application, LI Pulse is just the inverse of HI pulse. In simulation, I tried this by increasing the time  of LI pulse in Function Generator. But nothing worked. Would you provide me a method to simulating LM5113 with LI pulse that is inverted of HI pulse.

Regards,

Devarajan R

  • Hi Devarajan,

If you simulate the released test bench from TI website, you will find that LI pulses are inverse of HI pulses. We can observe from the below simulation result that LI is high when HI is low and vice versa.

I think you are trying to simulate HI & LI with square inputs. To do this, please modify the voltage sources V2 & V3 as shown below.

Please see the simulation result (shown below) after the modification.

We can observe that HI & LI are square signals and they are complementary to each other.

Also, if you are new to TINA-TI tool, try the short training videos https://training.ti.com/tina-ti-video-training-series
