I have a new design for BLDC so I must has a AC to DC about vin:70VAC~300VAC Vout:24V/2A high PF, focus smaller in area.

does TI has any suggest part ?

Hi Joey,

Could you please confirm if you are looking for a design that supports a powerfactor correction (PFC) circuit followed by an AC/DC Converter or only an AC/DC Converter ?

Hi Joey,

This design spec fits pretty well with transition mode PFC flyback. I suggest taking a look at UCC28810 or TPS92210. PFC flyback would let you take care of PFC + AC/DC conversion + isolation all in one converter.

I study UCC28810 and TPS92210 that use on lighting, can we ues on BLDC?

but UCC28810 and TPS92210 Reference designs has more component does have simple architecture.

Hi Joey,

UCC28810 and TPS92210 can be used for BLDC. They are not limited to lighting applications. For a simpler circuit design, take a look at UCC38050. Take a look at PMP2614:www.ti.com/.../slur561.pdf

if I want to use PMP2614 but I Vin max is 300VAC Vou is 24V .

How do I adjust T1 can give spec .

You can use the UCC28810 calculator to design your PFC flyback power stage. You can find the calculator at the bottom of this page:www.ti.com/.../toolssoftware
