    Hi,

    The "Reference Design" is transient model where people can see the pulse waveform/PWM waveform coming out of the each individual output pins.

    The "Average Reference Design" is the small signal equivalent model of the "(Transient) Reference Design" where the main objective is to see the frequency response of the part.
