WEBENCH® Tools/TPS54A20: Added above

Part Number: TPS54A20
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

To whom it may concern,

I need to evaluate adding a ferrite bead in series on the power path.

I have a spice model of the bead and would like to simulate transient behavior with the bead.

Any suggestion how to add the bead to the simulation?

The load should be after the bead.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Thanks

  • Hi Gidon,

If you already have the spice model, then you just have to create symbol for it and attach the netlist of your bead to the symbol. If you are using our TINA-TI tools, you can create .TSM macro for it. If you use OrCad Pspice, you can create it using model netlist editor.
