Hi John,

Now I am able to get details about the planar transformer tracks, layers and no. of turns also from Gerber.
But the copper thickness in a PCB, how much oz. is used for the planar tracks in the brick module, is it 2oz/4oz/6oz. how much current density is considered for these planar transformers 5A/mm2 or higher.

Hi Nesh,
That information is normally in a text file with the Gerbers but I can see that it is not there in these files.
I am sorry about that but the information is missing and sometimes this happens with reference designs.
You can use a calculator such as this :
circuitcalculator.com/.../
A trace with 5A current that is 4mm wide will have a temp rise of 10C according to this.

So I recommend that you use 20z copper. Anything higher would not be needed for 5A.
