I am using TIDA-00120 reference design for 12/24V Solar system. In this design i found the Panel Voltage is connected to MSP430 controller with a Voltage divider network. This may damage the controller if any wrong resistor placed. So i am looking for some protection to the controller and i found this in TIDA-010042 reference design.
In this TIDA-010042 reference design Panel Voltage has given through a BJT.(In attached Picture). Can i use the same for TIDA-00120 in place of Divider network? Does it require any software changes for PV measuring?
Please suggest me on this
