Does the PCL pin voltage follow the output current or just outputs the reference voltage like the simulation model? The datasheet implies it should follow the output current scale by the provided equation. Also, output noise measured by a HP3495A is not correct. The HP3495A is a scanner not a spectrum analyzer. Slvu944a references a “Output Noise Measurement Setup” document but provide no link or document number.

Hi Gerad,

It is a limitation of SPICE model that PCL pin current behavior is not modeled.
But, You can expect the IC behavior similar to datasheet.

Also, Could you please share with us the noise measurement setup (schematic) so that we can further look into it?
