Hi,

As per the datasheet, Figure Figure12-1.C66xDSPDeviceNomenclature(Includingthe TCI6638K2KDevice) there shouldn't be any difference

Can you check whether the markings on the first device are:
XTCI6638K2KAXAAW2H or XTCI6638K2KAXAAW24?
If it is XTCI6638K2KAXAAW24 then 24 = 1.2-GHz DSP / 1.4-GHz ARM.
