Why the max frequency is now 50 kHz , before I could go much higher

    Hi Georg,

    Can you please share your design with us? The frequency could be limited due to various reasons related to minimum on and off times, thermal considerations, etc.

    Hi Georg,

    We are able to create WEBENCH design for the default condition Vin:15-42V Vout=12V Iout=0.5A with the maximum frequency=97.58KHz.LM25007 supports a maximum frequency of 800kHz but based on the input/output condition, the power dissipation of the device is calculated and if maximum junction temperature is exceeded then the frequency is reduced.
