Hi All,
First post. I am learning Tina-Ti. I need to add a few Germanium transistors to the library. After searching, I found a .LIB file for LTSpice,

  • Hi Mai,

    To import, you can go to Tools -> New Macro Wizard -> From File. It will create the .TSM (symbol + embedded netlist inside the symbol), then you can place the .TSM inside TINA schematic file.

    On the file, you need to enclose .MODEL within .SUBCKT so that it can be accepted during the import process. Example:

    .SUBCKT CIRCUIT1 D G S

    M1 D G S NMOS1

    .MODEL NMOS1 NMOS  "Whatever parameters here"

    .ENDS

    I did create a new macro, but I could only read a few of them. Didn't know about .SUBCKT
    For example; It read in transistor 2N242 just fine and simulation looks fine.
    Could you encapsulate one example for me (OA91)? Then I can use it to do it to the others?
