    Hi Georg, 

    Do you mean LM2596 ?  There is not an LM2569. 

    If LM2596 is correct, go to the LM2596 Product Folder page,

    click on the Quality&packaging tab,

    in the Quality & environmental data table, find the part#, 

    click on the View link in the Material Content column. 

    You will see the RoHS information (or that it is EXEMPT).
