hello every one,

I am PhD student and I am working on DC-Micro-grid with two DC power supply and I wanna test my controller through RT-LAB. I am looking for a better suggestion for buck,boost and buck-boost converters for my research.

It is not very clear from your question on what exactly you are looking for.

If you need design suggestions for your point of load DC-DC power supply, please enter your input voltage range, desired output voltage and current requirements in WEBENCH Power Designer (www.ti.com/webench) - and the tool suggests you multiple custom designed solutions to help you get started.

If you have a specific issue with a WEBENCH design / if you are not able to create design for specific conditions - please let us know the details and we can look into it.

Thanks for your respond.

Actually, my request is about how to get a package of a buck converter with external controller that can trigger the buck converter switch (BUCK CONVERTER WITH EXTERNAL CONTROLLER ) such as the following diagram without controller and driver logic.

Hi salisu abdullahi,

Gate drivers allow you to control the high and low side switches with an external / digital controllers. Below link to TI gate driver ICs.

You will need to build your power stage board using discrete components (FETs, Gate-drivers and passives). The gate driver has digital inputs to control switch on / off, which can be interfaced with your external controller.
