I need additional information on reference designs for TI's ONET parts in a 10G SFP+ LR Optical Module. I am planning to order these bards for tests and I would be grateful if you could find a minute to answer my question.
I am looking through the test report available at TI web site under http://www.ti.com/lit/ug/tidu241/tidu241.pdf
The extinction ratio of the transmitter (shown on slide 2) is 5.35dB. Have higher extinction ratios been demonstrated with these boards?
