Closed loop speed control of induction motor matlab simulation i am trying by using DSP board F28379D. in closed loop operation Speed measurement sensing through proximity sensor. Output of speed sensor having only one signal. speed sensor data giving to DSP board through the eQEP block of matlab for comparision with original speed. but i am not understanding how to use eQEP block for speed measurement. Please give me a suggestion for how to use eQEP clock in speed measurement. If possible provide vidio link for usage of that block in matlab with dsp boardF28379D.

hi,

thanks for the reply, i am not using speed encoder for speed measurement. I am using a proximity sensor for speed measurement. The sensor will give only pulses when metal is detected. If we use quadrature in eQEP with one train of pulses it will give output or not. either should i give a two pulses with 90 degree phase shift. with the proximity sensor it will work or not, please give me a suggestion how to proceed this with proximity sensor.

hi,

in that example he used a lot of blocks hall sensors. As a beginner i was getting problem to understanding the eCAP module. In that example interrupts and remaing some memory blocks are used. could you please share the clear clarification of that how they calculated speed using eCAP module.
