WEBENCH® Tools/LMZ31710: How to set frequency in webench for LMZ31710?

When I try to set the LMZ31710 desired operating frequency (300KHz) for a 0.9V output, webench says "Design cannot be created". The data sheet says this should be okay. What gives?

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for contacting us. I went ahead and created the design for input condition VinMin=4.5, VinMax=17, Vout = 0.9, Iout = 10A (link below). As per datasheet for Vout = 0.9 V, Rt should be 1000 KOhm (Fsw = 250KHz). Let me know if this helps.

Per Table 7 of the datasheet, a synchronization frequency of 300KHz is allowed for a 0.9V output. When I select external frequency source and 300KHz in webench I get the "Design cannot be created". Is this a limitation of webench?

Hi Jeff,

Seems external sync feature is not modeled for this device on Webench.
