WEBENCH® Tools/LM25085: How to Use Custom FET in WebBench Design?

Part Number: LM25085

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello everyone,

I'm about 99% sure that I've been able to add custom FET's (and other devices) into a WebBench simulation in the past.  But for a current design based on the LM25085 I can't seem to do that.  WebBench only has a handful of 4 or 5 FET's that I can choose from and none of them are optimal.  How do I add a custom part where I enter the parameters of choice by hand?

Cheers,

James.

  • James,

At the moment, the tool does not allow adding custom FET where you can enter its parameters. This feature is only available for other components like resistors, capacitors, inductors, etc. However, we have had requests for this feature earlier as well and have this in the queue for future implementation.

    Regards,
