WEBENCH® Tools/LM25118: The simulated output is not obtained in hardware setup

Thanks for reporting this. Could you please share the VinMin, VinMax, Vout(28V) Iout(4.3A) (I'm assuming 28V and 4.3A from the schematic shown) all these values for which you are facing this issue?

Or, you could directly share the design with us from your Webench under My designs list. Then alone, we can reproduce the problem.

The parameters are as follows,

Vin min : 16V

Vin max : 32V

Vo : 28V

Io : 4.3A

Hi Mahesh,

The electrical simulations are not enabled for LM25118 on Webench. I did the next best thing and ran LM25118-Q1 (this is automotive version of LM25118) simulations. They're working fine. From this, I can assure you the circuit is fine.

I'll move this thread to Application design team. They'll help you with the on board issues/mistakes that you could have made.

Hi Mahesh,

Can you please double check the values of Rfbt and Rfbb on the board? Since the output voltage is higher than expected I am assuming that one of these values might have been populated with a different value.
