Is there any update on the promised replacement for the Flash based Webench Amplifier Designer? 

Is it still planned for release this winter?

The Amplifier Selection tool mentioned in the "WEBENCH® Tools: TI discontinues Flash-based tools" thread falls far, far short of the old Amplifier Designer.

    Hi Steve,

    Currently the HTML version supports only DC/AC-DC converters. I've asked the concerned team member to update you on the road map.

    Steve,

    There will be no replacement for Amplifier Designer in the near future.

    We are evaluating a simplified amplifier design tool that provides help in computing and selecting actual passive components.

    It's in our backlog currently. We will inform you, our valued user, when it is available on production.

    That is disappointing, unfortunate and sadly no surprise.

    p.s.  while I doubt very much that it was intentional, calling us "precious users" sounds a little bit condescending, just FYI

    My intention was not offensive but what I really meant is valued customer.
