WEBENCH® Tools/UCC28180: ucc28180

Part Number: UCC28180

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hello TI expert(s),

My doubt is regarding the pspice  simulation of the average model given in your website. In the schematic of your average model you gave one input DC voltage(165V) and it is given through a switch pulsed by ucc28180  and the output(390v.0.9A) is taken.

1.where is the vcc pin for the ucc28180 in that model, if u modelled it internally what is the voltage level of vcc?

2.what is use of cinj, Linj, and 0V ac source used in it?

  • Hi Yusuf,

Since this is an averaged model this is no need for a Vcc pin. In practice the Vcc voltage will not affect the voltage or current loop of the PFC controller.

The (Cinj) and (Linj) form the injection filter enabling the breaking of the loop, the 0V ac source is the frequency source used to generate the gain phase analysis in the simulator.

    Regards

    Peter
