Hello

I have a questions regarding TIDA-01385 refference design for energy harvesting. I'm currently working on energy harvester project. The energy that will be harvested is magnetic field from power line, with the current flows is about 100 A to 400 A. I will use the CT as energy harvester, and TIDA-01385 as circuit to harvest the energy. Could it possible to recharge the battery of TIDA-01385 through the CT?

Can I have a contact to order TIDA-01385?

Hi Sara,

in your application, you don't have super capacitor, but a rechargeable battery, correct? what is kind of the battery.

we don't have the TIDA-01385 now.

thank you very much for your reply.

In my application, the energy that will be harvested is magnetic field from power line. Then, the CT has to energise a circuit (composed of micro, antenna and modem). This circuit has to send a SMS in case a threshold is overcome. Do you think I can do this only with the supercapacitor, without battery?

Do you think your TIDA-01385 will be available in the next few weeks?

Hi Sara,

it depends on the system design and requirement.

1. what is voltage and loading for the system?

2. will the system operate when the power line is off?

3. the lifetime of the system during application.

Which type of CT-Based Energy Harvesting Subsystem and Battery did you use for TIDA-01385?

hi Sara,

the CT is designed by our customer, so I don't have the spec of the CT.

the battery use is Li/SOCl2 3.6V primary battery
