TIDA-01580: Customized hardware

Part Number: TIDA-01580
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4900

Hi,

I wanted to have the customized version of the TIDA - 01580 i.e. only wired input of ECG signals and PPG measurement using SFH  7072. Kindly guide me, if I can have it manufactured at T's end.

Regards,

Muskan Singla

  • Hi,

Thank you for your interest in TIDA-01580.

This is just a reference design and it can not be purchased like EVM. You will have to get it manufactured using the Gerber files available on this link: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-01580

Regarding your question on "only Wired input of ECG signals", please refer to Figure 12 and Table 4 in the design guide document of TIDA-01580. It shows how you can change the input configuration from two-electrodes to three-electrodes. The component footprints are available on the board, only some component needs to be populated or unpopulated.

Hope this answers your questions. I am marking this thread as "Resolved" for now. Please feel free to contact again in case of any further queries. Thank you.

  • Dear Sanjay,

    Thank you for your response.

Can I get the simulation model of the components such as AFE 4900 and SHF 7072, so as to verify the schematic connections? Also if you can provide me the code to be burnt over uC, it would be really helpful.

    Thanks and Regards,

    Muskan Singla

  • Hi,

AFE4900 is a mixed-signal AFE. Currently we don't have any simulation model for the same. Also, SFH7072 is not TI device, so we don't have model for it. However, the schematic/layout are fully tested.

Regarding your question on source code, it is available on http://www.ti.com/tool/TIDA-01580 (Check "Software section" in the bottom of this link).

  • Hi Sanjay,

I contacted a few of the PCB fabricators, who are unable to fabricate the AFE 4900 as it a BGA packaging. Kindly suggest and guide me through the solution to this.

    Thanks and regards,

  • Hi Muskan,

Since I have provided you with the manufacturer names, I will close this thread.

    Thank you.
