Hi,
Try updating the UCD/BMC firmware. See:
You can also check the following e2e threads for details:

It still gives same error message.
Please consider send the RMA number and ship address to return for replacement.
Thank you.
Bisquit,
What have you tried? What results did you see? We need to step through this to get it working. Unfortunately, this older EVM has this marginality in its power supply implementation. In almost all cases, successful configuration update has yielded success. Unfortunately, the manufacturer's website contains multiple versions of the files and this has caused confusion. As shown by Yordan, the user guide below contains links to the correct files:
The following E2E links are useful for reference:
If you also need to update the XDS200 firmware, please see these links:
Tom
We have had tried what you had given us, but still giving the same error code.
Please send us the RMA number and the ship address to return for replacement. It was suggested by Mouser that bought through them.
Best regards,
Bisquit

I'm faced too with this issue "SOC power failure". To solve problem (update BMS and UDP) and want to add something:
1. Update BMS with version 1.0.2.6. You can wrongly download version 1.0.2.5 the true link here.
2. The bmc_tool.py did not show all COM port, only one. I was able solve it manually by changing number port (my port was COM8, COM9: I see only COM8, change to COM2 and COM3 - the program start show me two COM port.
3. Do not forget circle power after successful download.
