Part Number: TIDA-01627

I tested TIDA-01627 Power bank.

When the USB PD adaptor is connected to the board(TIDA-01627) with no battery present, a voltage of 16.8V initially exists, after about three minutes the voltage disappears.

But I want to maintain voltage when the battery disconnected.

I'd like to ask you why, and how can I change it.

What hardware are you using to test this? TIDA-01627 is not available for purchase.

I made a custom board using TIDA-01627 data.
I did 4S battery charging test with this.

Hi HJ,

Are you referring to the voltage on VBUS of TPS65987D or the voltage that's on the input of the BQ25703A? I would suggest monitoring the I2C bus to ensure the correct data is being sent to the BQ25703A.

I mean output voltage of BQ25703A.

VBUS voltage is 20V.

I attached picture about I2C command of App Config Data Table in Application Customization Tool.

And I write I2C command below. Please check.

Record index 1 : Power On Reset / 0x820e00

Record index 2 : Power On Reset / 0x4000028006

Record index 3 : Power On Reset / 0x1035

Record index 4 : Detach / 0x28006

Record index 5 : Hard Reset / 0x28006

Record index 6 : Source PDO 1 Negotiated / 0x28006

Record index 7~9 : Source PDO 2~3 Negotiated / 0x130006

Record index 10~13 : Sink PDO 1~4 Negotiated / 0x41a00c0002

I would suggest checking that the I2C writes match that in the I2C master App note: http://www.ti.com/lit/an/slvae18/slvae18.pdf
