Hi,
Simulation of the circuit is not working.
I have downloaded the UCC24C2 unencrypted model from TI website and used.
Please find the attached schematicschematic_PMP10833.pdf.
Can you please check and respond?
Thanks and regards,
Ajmal T

Hi Ajmal,
As part of the end user license agreement of LTSPICE, TI cannot provide support for LTspice. In this instance please contact LTspice for support.
TI does offer TINA Spice simulator as a free download and we can provide support for that simulator.

Hi Peter,
Wile I was trying the simulation in TINA, getting "Operating point not found" ERROR.
Can you please check the schematic?0312.Buck.TSC and let me know the issue.
Regards,
Ajmal
Hi Ajmal,
I suggest you try an increase the iterations for the operating point calculation in the simulation options settings.
I think the fact that the controller is floating on the high side with the mosfet may give rise to some issue with the simulator. I the past I have put 1000MR resistors in parallel with mosfets or inductors than may have been causing some issue with DC operating points.

Peter
Hi Ajmal,
I hope you have made some progress in the meantime on your simulation, since there has been no response to my last post for over a week I am going to close the post.
If you have more questions please open a new post.

Hi Peter,
Sorry for the delay in response. I was on vacation.
Still, my simulation is not working. Have you tried simulating my circuit at your end.? If that is working , please share the file or suggest the changes required.
Regards,
Ajmal T
Hi Ajmal,
I tried a couple of changes but the circuit will not converge for me either.
I suggest you replace the controller with a simple waveform generator and get the power stage debugged. I would then add in the controller and take it step by step.
Getting the simulation work can take as long as building it on the bench.

Peter
