I'm simulating CD74HC4538-Q1 on TINA-TI, but I'm not getting desired output from this monoshot. I'm generating triggering pulse using SPST switch, but even after getting the triggering pulse the monoshot remains in its stable state.

Please help, where am I doing wrong?

Hi Tanisha,

This PSPICE model is made to be used in a very specific way. I would not trust its output to guarantee the behavior of the actual device if not used exactly how it is meant to be.

As you can see we have a common FAQ for the monostable multivibrator. Can your provide your TINA file so I can test what you have built but I would recommened you not use its TINA model to test.

monoshot.CIRThis is the TINA file for my simulation however the spst I used for generating the trigger shown in the figure couldn't be exported in the TINA file so I have replaced it with a wire

Hi Tanisha,

The model isn't working properly. I would not recommend you to use this model. We are working on updating this SPICE model for the monostable multivibrator however, I do not have an expected date for you for when that will be completed.
