Thanks for your reply. The actual part number related we are using is BQ24650. And I heard that the maximum charging current of it is 10A. Is it correct, then, can it also be used for charging current up to 30A?
I think this problem mostly lies on the charger not MSP430. I will change your thread to another topic.

1. TIDA-00120 software should be transferred to MSP430F5132 by user? If so, how can we do it?
2. You wrote above that we should change the FET to TO-220 package to increase the charging current upto 40A. I found that below two items are two FET used in TIDA-00120.

Are above two all the FET that should be changed to TO-220 package? Then, can you let me know the exact part numbers of TO-220 package for above FET?

I can't find the T0-220 package in the datasheet. Use CSD18502Q5B as an example. The reason why you can't use it is the temperature will be over spec. My advice is:
a. Add a passive radiator to these two MOSFETs. You can calculate according to the parameters in datasheet to make sure the temperature will not over spec.
b. Find change another N-MOSFET or P-MOSFET to meet your requirement. For this part I have no experience.

No, TIDA-00120 software doesn't include in MSP430F5132. You need to download it by yourself. And you can also change the code according to your application.
