Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools
Hi,
Based on WeBench I've build the following schematic and layout. The input voltage range is 30-60V (lipo battery) and the output I aim for is 5V/10A.
PB1 (EN pin) is pulled to 5V by a microcontroller.
The problem is that the LM5116 doesn't seem to power on at all. I've supplied 32V to Vin from a lab bench power supply and probed, with an oscilloscope, Vout and the gates of the mosfets and all were 0V.
I'm fairly certain that this is not a soldering error, but I can't figure out what the chip doesn't power on.
General feedback about the schematic or layout is welcome since this is my first "power" related pcb.
HI
pls check
1.whether VCC has voltage
2.SS voltage build up or not
3. make sure 5V can drive the high side and low side mosfet.
Thanks
