Hi the expert at TI,
When I try to do a circuit simulation with UCC28700 in TINA-TI, the simulation is always stucking at 5%. I spend more than 2 days on this but cannot find the reason. If there is anyone can help me on this, it will be great thanks. Please see attached test.tsc file.0118.Test.TSC
Hello,
I tried running transient and it does lock up at 5%. I looked at your schematic and you are trying to use two inductor's instead of a fly back transformer. More than likely your simulation is getting hung up because of this. It is most likely a convergence issue.
I would suggested re down loading the Tina transient model for the UCC28700. This time instead of using inductors you can modify TX1's fly back transformer to match your specifications.
Double click on TX1 hit the Enter Macro button. About halfway down the page you can change the number of turns, primary resistance, magnetizing inductance. There is even a typed schematic for the transformer. Make the changes and save the Macro and then run you simulation again.
Regards,
