Hi sir,

We are using DAC38J84EVM with the help of DAC GUI
I tried giving a TEST FILE in that Single tone of 25MHz is used in HSDC Pro with that on DAC I used On board clock then DAC output was 25MHz but when i used the same frequency of External clock then  DAC output was 6MHz. TI Support DAC38J84EVM.docx
Can Any one help me, what happens when we use an external clock to the DAC?
As per our requirement we want DAC output is 670MHz
i attached my requirement details, please send me stepwise process.

    Hi Bharat,

    The default test waveform for the 25MHz may not match the actual data rate that you have setup for your system. Your actual data rate needed for the tone generator is 300MSPS.

    You will need to refer to the DAC38J84 EVM user's guide on setting up the "data rate" of the tone generator to match the DAC38J84 GUI setup. Please see highlighted area.

    You will also need to setup up the NCO accordingly to generate the mixing process.

    All of these are your application dependent and TI is not able to comment. The better way is to provide your GUI screen shot so we can point out what you will need to do on your setup.
