Dear Sir,

Started working with F28335 and after implementing ADC, PWM, D-Q conversions ,Power analyzer and SPLL now shifted to F28379D . As TDA-01606

is a reference design near to my final product.Got my docking station and control card of F28379 D . Ported TIDA-01606 code and observed I/O operations and ADC

sampling. Sampling is done at 50 Kz .Now I need help on following points:

1) It was observed that all the RMS values showing zero though accumulation of sum is there. After doing few modifications in the code now I an see RMS values and other

power parameters in the structure .Please tell me what will be the cause also is there any GUI where I can see all these parameters?

2. After connecting USB port to PC, the is showing " newly connected port malfunction " but if I download SCI example code it works Fine. Switch position is in "ON"

3. No PWM pulses are observed on PWM output though there is grid voltage ,current present.

Please suggest how to go about that.

Hi Manish,

Thank you for posting the query.

PWM pulses should be coming up. Can you please confirm the status of the following variables?

Please ensure to set these variables after debugging your code from the watch window.

1. TINV_allRelaySet

2. TINV_closeGiLoop

3. TINV_resetAllFaultStatus

PWM pulses should come after this. Also there is no GUI for this software.

Thanks Harish,

As suggested by you checked the variables and attaching the screen shot. Also there is no variable named as TINV_resetAllFaultStatus.

Others two are as follows

TINV_allRelaySet = 0

. TINV_closeGiLoop = 1;

In the attachment you can see that there is accumulation of voltage square but vrms=0;

Also please through some light on SCI part too.

How do I communicate with the board to read the values on serial terminal?

Hi Manish,

The following settings in the control card enable serial communication with pin J3 pulled down and all other pins pulled up.

Dear Harish, thanks for your reply. As I mentioned in my starting post the switches are in good position as u suggested in the last post. They are "ON"

If I fire the F28379 with example SCI program it works and I can see echo on TeraTerm.But when I program with TIDA01606 it shows USB malfunction.

Please suggest How can I verify the output for TIDA01606 application?(sfra_gui_scicomms_driverlib included in the project.)
