Hi Team,

We have a power requirement as below,

Vin:24V, Vout(Isolated):24V, Iout:2A.

The reference design PMP11047 will support only with 24V/1A.

My question is, in order to satisfy our power requirement shall we use the 750311592(Wurth transformer)?Will it suits with our requirement?

If I take PMP11047(as my reference), what are all the changes need to do?

Sarumathi,

No, PMP11047 will not work for this application, you are asking for double the output power.

Hi Robert,

Thankyou.

The PMP22151 have 28V output and 37V output, but we need only 24v as output.

The transformer 750311592 has the spec of 24Vout/1.9A.

Shall I use this transformer instead of which one used in the PMP11047 to attain our power requirement.

Hi Sarumathi,

It is easier to change the output from 28V to 24V on PMP22151. You can ignore the 37V output, just don't use that part of the circuit.

If you want to use the original design, you need to change all of the parts, not just the transformer. In addition, you would need to do all of the calculations again to check the peak currents and adjust almost every part.
