Unable to use IPD200N15N3GATMA1 model in TINA TI or PSPICE

Hi,

I have downloaded IPD200N15N3GATMA1 SPICE Model from mouser by following link: Simulation Model OptiMOS™ Power MOSFET PSpice 150V N-Channel (Zip)

I have tried to add model through new macro wizard, but it throws following error:

Another issue is, I am unable to load shape for FETs from library.

I have tried using PSPICE, but it seems it doesn't recognize .slb files.

Can anyone tell me what should do to resolve this?

Anurag,

In the function called out in the error message, TJ appears as a PARAM in the SUBCKT declaration, which defines the value of that parameter.
The parameters ISS and USD do not appear anywhere but in the defined functions.
They need to be defined and set to some value somewhere else.

This obviously causes a problem for that model in TINA.
It might be possible to delete that one model with the error, and the others in that file will work.
Not a guarantee, but it might be worth a try.
I have no idea how the model s will behave in Pspice for TI.

Googling SLB files indicates they are associated with another tool.

I don't think they are Pspice-compatible.

I have manually deleted all other devices from the file, except required one.

And it have solved my issue.

Hi John,

Another thing is that I have been trying to work out circuit for low side FET driving for BQ76952.

I have come up with following design, can you give me a headstart on how should verify its working and simulate it?

So far I have tried to use 12V supply at DCHG and DDSG ends, but haven't gotten anywhere yet.
