PSPICE-FOR-TI: Error while using imported TI spice file (not in the TI library)

Part Number: PSPICE-FOR-TI
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA855

Hello,

I am trying to evaluate the following circuit containing TI OPA855 Spice model which I downloaded from TI site.

I get the following error when trying to run the simulation.

How can it be resolved?

Thanks,

Sariel

  • Hi Sariel,

Please save your screenshot to a file and use the insert file button (paper click icon) to add it to your post. This forum does not support paste.

    Thanks,

  • Hey JC,

I just corrected the original post.

    Thanks,

    Sariel

  • Sariel,

What you saw is not an error. It merely tells you that PSpice does not recognize this model. Nevertheless, you can still run simulations and look at the waveforms for up to 3 markers (icons that look like probes to the right of the simulation button) you place in the schematic.

Also, I've forwarded this to the model developer. He will be able to help you further.

    Thanks,
    JC

  • Hi Sariel,

JC is working to put this model into the internal library during a future update. Once it is in there, you will experience fewer simulation restrictions when using it.

    Best regards,

    Sean
