Dear Team,
I'm needing to proof a design using an SN75DP129 DP to HDMI converter. I was hoping you had a reference schematic and board layout for this chip. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sandeep V

DP or DP++? The DP129 is a DP++ to HDMI converter, it will not support DP to HDMI converter.
If you need a DP++ to HDMI converter, would you please accept my friendship request so I can send you the board file?
Thanks
David
Hi David,
Thank you for reply, I have accepted your request kindly share the board file. If you have DP to HDMI also you can forward to me.

I sent you the file in a private message, please check.
Unfortunately we do not have a DP to HDMI solution.
Thanks
David
Hi David,
thank you for sending the files from this i can go further in my board.
May i know the difference between DP and DP++ ports in electrically and signal wise.

DP is DP protocol with DP electrical signaling.
DP++ supports both DP protocol with DP electrical signaling and HDMI protocol with DP electrical signaling.
When going from DP to HDMI, we are changing both the DP protocol with DP electrical signaling to HDMI protocol with HDMI electrical signaling (TMDS), therefore it is a protocol converter.
When going from DP++ to HDMI, we keep the HDMI protocol, but change the DP electrical signaling to HDMI electrical signaling, so it is a level shifter.
Thanks
