Bug in Design List display on Desktop version

Rev 3.9.10.1 running on XP, no previous installation.

I am seeing odd behavior of the text windows associated with the designs. Sometimes the text is there, sometimes not. If I run the mouse over where the text should be, I see the box outline in light blue. Sometimes the text appears if I click the little arrow beside the heading (e.g. My Designs). To get the list, I sometimes have to click on the arrow, sometimes in the box with the header text. The issue seems to be isolated to how the panel itself displays things.

  • Hi Malcolm,

I have never seen this type of problem before. Could you please try the following:

    1) Please boot your computer in "Safe Mode" (http://www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation/windows/xp/all/proddocs/en-us/boot_failsafe.mspx?mfr=true) to see if it fixes the problem. "Safe Mode" usually uses a more conservative graphics driver and/or configuration.

    2) Also, could you please download and install the latest version of .NET 4 (http://www.microsoft.com/net/download.aspx).

    Thanks,
    Michael

  • Hello, Michael.

Actually, a simple reboot cleared the behavior. I don't believe I have rebooted this machine since the beginning of the year, so the behavior might have been induced by quite a few different (badly behaved) programs. I only saw this the second and later times I executed SwitcherPro after initial installation. I'll get back to you if it happens again.

    Cheers,

    Malcolm
