Dasga,
Thank you for the post, and thank you for your interest in Pspice for TI.
Another user experienced an AVG false positive for another Pspice for TI file, orCEFSimpleUI.exe.
AVG, on closer examination, has confirmed this file is "clean" and has provided an update that will be available within 24 hours.
The file blocked by your version of AVG is most likely a false positive as well.
I will submit this case to AVG for evaluation, and get the Pspice for TI vendor involved as well, and will provide an update to this thread in a few days.
Regards,
John
Dasga,
Also, in the mean-time, would you please provide an image of the alert, as well as your version of AVG?
The AVG version can be seen via Open -> Menu -> About.
Please attach the images to this thread using the paper clip icon.
You cannot copy-and-paste directly into E2E threads.

Dasga,
Thank you for the information.
The file has been submitted to AVG fto confirm as a false positive.
In the past, they provided feedback in 3-4 days, followed by an update pushed to their anti-malware app.
I will update this thread when they reply.
Regards,
John
Hi,
I experienced same problem today 3 files rejected where quarantined by AVAST:
ver :20.7.2425 (version 20.7.5568.601)
data base :201005-4
Quarantined files names :
cdsMsgServer.exe
orCEFSimpleUI.exe
mpsinfo.exe
True malware or false positive.
Thanks
JR
HI JR,
This has been reported to both AVG and Kaspersky as a false positive. Both companies are reviewing the issue. It appears that the problem comes from outside of the installation hierarchy.
we'll update this thread with the findings.
