WEBENCH® Tools/LM5022: Transient Simulation of Buck converter for long startup time, Design from datasheet

Part Number: LM5022

Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools

Hi there,

for a buck converter design I am simulation the LM5022 according to the datasheet typical application with Tina Simulation tool. The startup behaviour in a seconds range is important here and I have problems for this huge amount of data. The simulation tool stops and states run out of memory. For short time simulation e.g. 40ms all is fine.

This looks a bit like the time step needs to be set proper. The circuitry runs with the LM5022 transient model and switching frequency is 200kHz.

How can I set the time step and what value would be sufficient? Are there other parameter which needs to be set, as a huge amount of data will result from this simulation. The transient simulation of the startup should plot 4 seconds.

Kind regards
