TIDA-01606: Source code for PWM algorithm 3 phase 3 level grid tie inverter

Part Number: TIDA-01606

Hi Sir, we are using TIDA-01606 reference for developing a PV fed three phase three-level grid tie inverter.  We have downloaded software from ti.com/tool/TIDA-01606. In the libraries we are able to find only the transforms and PLL. We would like to know, what type of PWM algorithm is implemented to control multilevel inverter switches. We have checked the document,"  https://training.ti.com/deep-dive-sic-based-10kw-grid-tied-inverter-design". In that page 54, it mentioned that three reference signals are produced, in the same page, PWM DAC output is shown, which seems to be SVPWM output.  Can we get source code for the inverter PWM algorithm or updated source code of the software. Please mention whom to contact regarding the same.

We would like to know can we software for the application note SPRABS6, which details about centre aligned SVPWM for three level NPC inverter? Thank you

  • 1. We do not implement a SVPWM , we simply use the DQ-> ABC transform for the sinusoidal PWM. Because this is T-type inverter, we run the top switch of the totempole leg and the T-leg  when the phase a duty is greater than zero and run the low switch and the T-leg for the negative half. This is manages in software , which is equivalent to the double carrier.
