Why is a simulation in SwitcherPro online for a design with TPS5410 Vin=24V Vout=12V Iout=1A not possible? This design is a result by parametric search!

    Hi Thomas,

    Sorry about this problem. SwitcherPro is having a hard time picking the output capacitor to ensure a phase margin > 30deg. Please do the following:

    1) Start by creating a design with Vin=24V Vout=15V and Iout=1A. You should get the following:

    2) Next, please change C2 to Sanyo 35ME68AX 68uF capacitor with an ESR of 220mOhm.

    3) Next, please click on "Edit Inputs". Please change the Vout from 16V to 12V and press "Apply Changes".

    You should now have the following design:

    This design shows a phase margin of 73deg.
