On the TIDA-00204 reference design it shows 4.7pF caps to GND on the diff pairs going to the transformer (see below). Are those actually needed?

Hi Gregory,

Those caps to GND on the differential pairs are not needed. In section 9.2.1.1 of the DP83867IR datasheet, there is a figure that recommends how the MDI lines should be connected.
