Hi,

I try to get the some KiCad symbol and packages for some of TIs devices (LP5012 or TUSB8041A for example). Either I get an error or I get some progress animation and then I get no result. Is the service out of order? I tried Safari and Chrome.

I'm sorry taht we don't provide such kind of library, you may need to create the symbol by yourself. Thanks.

So, you think that is the "normal" response to: "Sorry, we offer you an footprint, but we don't have one!"? A simple: "That Package / Device is not supported" Response would have saved me some time (and others as well).

I was able to get these file to download as expected. Can you accept my friend request and send me a message (so I get a notification) and I can send the files directly to you? Which package of the LP5012 do you need?

Hi JMMN,

thank you very much for the help you're offering! I created my own packages meanwhile. I wondered just, why there is that offer for CAD data for TI chips and why none of the ones I've tried worked. So I thought there might be a general problem. Maybe it works with Internet Explorer ;-)

Hi Torsten,

I've been able to download files using Chrome and IE. I'll mark this as unresolved so that someone from the appropriate team responds. I'm an applications engineer for the USB products like the hub, so I can download the files for you but I can't resolve your issue directly.

I tried it again, this time, I was able to download the TUS8041A symbols and footprints for KiCad. I guess this was a hiccup at Ultra Librarian.
