TIDA-01580: TIDA-01580 ECG circuit.

Part Number: TIDA-01580
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AFE4900

Hi,

I doing a test about a ECG sensing of custom circuit and electrodes. (reference, TIDA-01580 circuit)

However, during the test, a question arose.

Is there a way to use electrodes with relatively high resistance by changing the value of the circuit of the ECG part?

We would appreciate your reply after checking.

Thank you.

Regards.

  • It depends on what kind of electrodes you are using.

For dry electrodes, the output impedance is higher than the wet electrodes. The ECG front-end circuit will change accordingly. I suggest looking at the latest datasheet of AFE4900 for the same.

I can not share it here because the datasheet is under restrictions. You can request the full datasheet on this link: https://www.ti.com/product/AFE4900
