TIDA-050047: VBUS decoupling capacitors

Part Number: TIDA-050047

Hello,

There are one 4.7uF (C44) and four 0.01uF (C45 ~ C48) capacitors on the USB VBUS line. Those capacitors are placed in parallel at the VBUS input line layout.

Could you explain the reason why four 0.01uF capacitors are attached to VBUS?

What characteristics do you use these four parallel 0.01uF capacitors?

Is this for ESD protection, noise suppression or any other reason?

Thanks for your help.

Best
