Hi team,

Our customer referred to TI TIDA-00961 reference design.

Can they use TI C2000 to design a 2 phase TRM totem pole PFC at 500kh~1.2Mhz to 3.6kw?

If 2 phase can not reach 3.6kW design, is it possible to use 3 phase TRM totem pole PFC at 500kh~1.2Mhz?

Can C2000 support that?

This design should support the frequencies you mentioned. Additionally the fundamental limit to the power rating was the RDS on, which for this design is 70m ohms. Newer LMG GaN FETs support 50 or even 30m ohms, which should support your desired power level.
